Narasimhanaickenpalayam: A Grade I town panchayat on the Mettupalayam Road, about 13 km from the city, with DTCP layouts on both sides of the highway. An NHAI bypass proposed from Neelambur would join the Mettupalayam Road here; treat it as a proposal until it is notified.
Pannimadai & Somayampalayam: Villa and larger-plot pockets west of Thudiyalur, filling in farmland towards the Thadagam valley. Roads are narrower than on the main highways, so check approach-road width before you buy.
