The Coimbatore–Pollachi road: farms and farmhouses
The Coimbatore–Pollachi road (NH 83) runs south from the city through Eachanari, Malumichampatti and Kinathukadavu to Pollachi, the district's second town, and on to the Anaimalai foothills near the Aliyar dam.
The corridor has two sides: farm land along most of its length, and a growing farmhouse and resort segment as it nears the hills beyond Pollachi.
The stretches from the city to Pollachi
Nearer the city, around Eachanari and Malumichampatti, there's demand for residential plots; further south it becomes mainly farm land supplying Pollachi's coconut and dairy economy.
Near Pollachi and towards the Anaimalai foothills, land near the Aliyar dam road draws tourism-linked buyers, a separate market again.
What's for sale
Residential plotted layouts near the city end, coconut and dairy farms in the middle, and land linked to tourism closer to the hills.
Treat the corridor as several linked markets rather than one, since land use shifts from homes to farms to tourism along its length.
| Stretch | What's there | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Eachanari–Malumichampatti | Residential plotted layouts | First-time land buyers |
| Middle stretch towards Pollachi | Coconut and dairy farms | Farm investors |
| Near the Anaimalai foothills | Land near tourist spots | Farmhouse and hospitality buyers |
Legal checks along the Pollachi road

For farm or tourism land further south, check the Chitta and Adangal records, find out how close the land is to reserved forest near the foothills, and trace the title through parent documents for at least 30 years.
